Terry L. Shotton - Artist Biography


Working primarily in oils or encaustics, Terry is an expressionist painter with leanings towards impressionism. Her subjects range from plein air landscapes to studio still life to imagined things.

Terry has a B.S. magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and a Certificate in Fine Arts from Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. She studied art privately for 2 1/2 years with Russian
Impressionist Violetta.

       
 

Terry is a member of Valley Art Association in Hagerstown, Maryland, the Franklin County Art Alliance in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and The Delaplaine Visual Arts Center in Frederick, Maryland.
